Refraction

Overview

Refraction is a top-down, arena action game where you use quick reflexes to take down hordes of enemies. Possessing only the abilities to swing your sword and generate a pulse attack, you must rely on your skill and your wit as you fight to survive in the hope that you can live long enough to take down the core of all corruption.

Plot

You take the role of a pure being of energy. Your world was once a place of peace and serenity, but corruption has begun seeping from its core. Hordes of altered and cancerous beings have flooded the land, forcing you to fight back against the infection and stop the destruction of your home. You forge a sword out of your own energy to assist you in battle and brace yourself for the coming war.
