slopranks is operated by Simulayte LLC (“we”). Questions about anything on this page go to support@slopranks.com.

slopranks is a leaderboard for cheap co-op games, ranked by the votes of the people using it. A ranking here is the sum of those votes and nothing more: it is not a review score, not a measurement of quality, and not a claim about how many people play anything.

The games, their prices, art, release dates, tags and announcements come from the Steam storefront. The votes and rankings are real, and the counts printed on the advertising page are counted from the catalog at the moment you load it.

You need an account to vote or to submit a game. Make one with an address you can receive mail at, keep the password to yourself, and tell us at support@slopranks.com if you think someone else is using it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be at least 13 to make an account, or older where the law where you live sets a higher age. To buy advertising you must be at least 18 and able to bind the business you are buying for.

One account per person. You may delete it at any time from your own profile page — the account menu in the header is the way to it — and the privacy page says what that removes.

One vote per game per account, which you can take back. Do not make additional accounts to vote again, pay anyone to vote, use a script to vote, or otherwise try to move a ranking by any means other than persuading people. Votes obtained that way are removed, and the accounts behind them go with them.

The database enforces the counting rules — a score cannot be driven below zero and a ballot cannot be cast twice — but this clause is what makes the attempt itself a breach rather than a game to be played.

A submitted game goes to a review queue and stays out of the public catalog until someone approves it. Submit games that exist, at links that lead to them, described accurately. Do not submit anything you have no right to post, anything unlawful, anything hateful, or anything pretending to be someone else’s work.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to display, store and distribute it as part of the site, including in the parts of the site that are syndicated elsewhere, for as long as it is published here. You confirm you are entitled to give that permission.

A game you submit stays in the catalog after you delete your account, because the catalog records what exists rather than who told us about it. It stops being attributed to you.

Anything may be edited or removed without notice, and no reason is owed for a decision about what belongs in the catalog.

Paid placements are marked as sponsored wherever they appear. Paying for one buys a position on the page and never a ranking, a vote, a review or editorial coverage; the two are kept apart deliberately and there is no arrangement under which money moves a score.

An advertiser is responsible for the accuracy of their own copy, and campaigns may be refused or stopped. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never receive or store card details.

Sponsored spots are sold by the week at the price shown, in US dollars, and paid in full upfront. A week runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC. You pay one flat price for the week, not per view or per click; the views and clicks your spot gets are shown to you as a guide.

A booking cancelled more than thirty (30) days before its week starts is refunded in full. Any booking cancelled within thirty (30) days of its start date will still be charged the full amount stated in the booking confirmation.

To reschedule, you must give us notice at least seven (7) days prior to the existing start date, and name the new week you want. Bookings rescheduled more than two (2) times will be treated as a cancellation. Cancellations and reschedules are made by emailing support@slopranks.com. If we refuse or stop your ad, we refund every week of it that has not yet run.

Game titles, artwork, prices, release dates, tags, screenshots and announcements on this site come from Steam. slopranks is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve.

The creator videos on a game’s page — titles, channels, thumbnails and view counts — come from YouTube through the YouTube API Services, and each one links to the video on YouTube. By using this site you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. slopranks is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Everything else belonging to a game — its name, its art, its trademarks — belongs to its developer or publisher, and appears here to identify the game being ranked.

Tell us and it comes down. Write to support@slopranks.com with:

1. the work you own;
2. where it appears on slopranks, with a link;
3. your name and how to reach you;
4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law;
5. a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the work or are authorised to act for whoever does;
6. your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name is enough.

We will remove or disable it promptly rather than argue about it, and tell whoever posted it, where someone did.

If something of yours was taken down and you think that was a mistake, write to the same address saying what was removed and where it was, with your name, contact details and signature, and a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification. We pass your reply to the person who reported it. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have gone to court to keep it down, we may put it back.

Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are closed.

Most of what is here is not ours to license in the first place: game art, descriptions and announcements come from Steam, belong to the studio or the platform, and are shown here with credit and a link to the original. A studio or publisher that wants any of it taken down from slopranks only has to email us, and we will remove it.

Knowingly claiming that something infringes when it does not, or that it was taken down by mistake when it was not, can leave you liable for the harm that causes.

The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be available, that a ranking is accurate, or that anything on it is fit for a particular purpose. It may change, break or go away.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for anything arising from a decision made on the basis of a ranking, a price or a release date shown here. Beyond that, our total liability to you for anything to do with the site is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Prices and release dates in particular are a copy of what the storefront said when the catalog was last updated. Check the store before buying anything.

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and the clauses about content you have already posted, liability, and governing law survive that.

These terms may change. The date at the top changes when they do, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it. A change that materially affects what you may do here will be announced on the site rather than made quietly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
