slopranks is a leaderboard for cheap co-op games, ranked by the votes of the people using it. A ranking here is the sum of those votes and nothing more: it is not a review score, not a measurement of quality, and not a claim about how many people play anything.

Parts of the site are sample content rather than reporting. The editorial articles, the written reviews, the named people attached to them, and the audience and pricing figures on the advertising page are invented for a prototype. Each is labelled where it appears. They describe no real person, no real company and no real measurement, and nothing in them should be relied on. The catalog itself is the opposite: the games, their prices, art, release dates, tags and announcements are real data from the Steam storefront, and the votes and rankings are real.

You need an account to vote or to submit a game. Make one with an address you can receive mail at, keep the password to yourself, and tell us at support@slopranks.com if you think someone else is using it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

One account per person. You may delete it at any time from your account page, and the privacy page says what that removes.

One vote per game per account, which you can take back. Do not make additional accounts to vote again, pay anyone to vote, use a script to vote, or otherwise try to move a ranking by any means other than persuading people. Votes obtained that way are removed, and the accounts behind them go with them.

The database enforces the counting rules — a score cannot be driven below zero and a ballot cannot be cast twice — but this clause is what makes the attempt itself a breach rather than a game to be played.

A submitted game goes to a review queue and stays out of the public catalog until someone approves it. Submit games that exist, at links that lead to them, described accurately. Do not submit anything you have no right to post, anything unlawful, anything hateful, or anything pretending to be someone else’s work.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you give us permission to display, store and distribute it as part of the site, including in the parts of the site that are syndicated elsewhere, for as long as it is published here. You confirm you are entitled to give that permission.

Anything may be edited or removed without notice, and no reason is owed for a decision about what belongs in the catalog.

Paid placements are marked as sponsored wherever they appear. Paying for one buys a position on the page and never a ranking, a vote, a review or editorial coverage; the two are kept apart deliberately and there is no arrangement under which money moves a score.

An advertiser is responsible for the accuracy of their own copy, and campaigns may be refused or stopped. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never receive or store card details.
