Connected. Tangled. Inseparable.
Two balls of wool on a real, physically simulated thread. Race ahead and you drag the other along. Stand still and you anchor them — that is exactly what the levels are built on. And the door only opens once you are both standing at it.
More than 50 unique levels across 8 chapters
- First Threads — a run of challenges to get to know the game
- Tied Closer — the thread gets shorter, and things get harder
- Hopelessly Tangled — a mirror world, moths, an avalanche of wool
- Wool Factory — conveyor belts, presses, a crane and the dye works
- Yarn Funfair — roller coaster, ghost train, shooting gallery
- Arcade — eight minigames, each with rules of its own
- Wool Space — orbiting planets, gravity on and off
- Wool Glacier — blizzard, ice and the climb to the summit
A boss fight waits at the end of each of the last two chapters.
Playing together
- Co-op / Remote Play Together on one keyboard — Player 1 on A/D + W, Player 2 on the arrow keys
- Online co-op / multiplayer via Steam, from two players up to four
Collect and dress up
Every level has yarn lying around — and from chapter three on, a hidden glitter yarn as well, which only counts once you actually beat the level. Spend it in the Yarn Shop on new colours and accessories.
