Abandoned Gameshop is out now on Steam.

A game shop nobody came back to. The lights are dead, the shelves are collapsed, boxes are everywhere. Your job is simple: put every game back where it belongs — right genre, right shelf, right price. Get it wrong and the shop remembers.

FIVE WAYS TO PLAY

The mode is chosen at NEW GAME, saved into your profile, and locked in for that run.

EASY prints the genre icon on the corner of the case. Skills and XP work as normal, and achievements and stats still count. NORMAL takes the icon away, you sort it from memory. HARDCORE takes the icon and the entire XP bar and skill book with it. BLACKOUT, solo only, cuts the power at random and leaves you working by flashlight. SPECIAL hands you the three rules, genre icons, skill tree, power cuts, and lets you tick them yourself.

2-PLAYER ONLINE CO-OP

Steam lobbies with Invite Friend straight from the overlay, and drop-in joining, so late arrivals pick up the host's mode automatically. Every player keeps their own XP and their own skill tree. Solo and co-op have separate save slots, three each. BLACKOUT stays solo, somebody has to keep the lights on.

35 SKILLS, 7 BRANCHES

Named after the shop you grew up in. FAST FORWARD handles boxes quicker. CARRY CASE carries more at once. TOP SHELF reaches further. HIGH SCORE earns more XP. TURBO BUTTON moves faster. STRATEGY GUIDE gives genre hints when you are stuck. MULTITAP auto-stocks shelves. Five tiers each, and the book opens with TAB, unless you picked HARDCORE.

ALSO IN THE BOX

Full controller support with on-screen button icons and remapping, 20 languages, Steam achievements and stats, and a proper ending if you make it that far.
