Chapter 3 levels 5 & 6 are ready to play! Explore the dimensions beyond the Backrooms as Captain Valentine continues her hunt for Null-0 Artifacts.
Content Additions
- Chapter 3 levels 5 & 6
- New suit colors, suit logo and patterns to unlock
- New Nametags
Voice Acting
- Due to personal issues, Valentine's original voice actor could unfortunately no longer perform the role - Valentine has been recast and all lines have been re-recorded.
Improvements
- Washables created during play (such as from Blood, Mud or Paint) now more cleanly span the entirety of the scene
- Chapter 3 Artifact Tubes ready to receive an artifact will now play a beeping sound
Balance
- 3-04's entities have had their chasing movement reduced by 15% (This is a bit of a stop-gap for their current difficulty, we intend to revisit the level after Chapter 3 is complete to allow players more opportunities to play around them).
Optimizations
- Multiplayer load speed has been increased, particularly when using custom nametags
- Improved performance in scenes with lots of VFX, such as Incursions or Bosses
- Improved performance in all levels that don't have bodies of water in them
- Improved the performance of the host in levels where there are lots of washables
- Improved the performance of lighting when in D-Force lobbies
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a few issues related to UI getting stuck
- Fixed an issue that was causing pickups on remote clients to appear more laggy
- Fixed an issue where the nametag drawing sound could persist outside of the UI
- Fixed an issue where buckets could spill paint by bumping into the player who's actively holding it
