welcome to the BETRAYED 0.9.9 update – "Drill Sergeant Fox Takes Command".

This update puts the spotlight on the brand-new tutorial, led by Drill Sergeant Fox. With full voice lines and subtitles, he drills players through every mechanic of Betrayed with humor, strict orders, and clarity.

Alongside the tutorial overhaul, the lobby and main menu received new animations, the Traitor’s arsenal has grown deadlier than ever, and networking has been significantly improved.

• Fully voiced with subtitles

Animations & Atmosphere

• Characters now animate in the main menu and lobby
• Lobby redesigned for more immersion
• Each map now features 8–10 brand-new music tracks
• Lobby has its own unique theme

Traitor

• Artillery Strike: devastating fire support
• Knife with 3 Finisher Moves: brutal new executions
• Wallmine: deadly trap for unsuspecting players
• Airdrop: furniture falling from the sky – and yes, it kills
• Gasoline Bomb: fiery area-of-effect destruction
• Drone with Bomb: remote-controlled flying assassin

Inspector

• Taser: ranged shock weapon to stun Traitors

Voice Chat

• Experimental system added
• Global and proximity chat fully functional
• Dead players are automatically moved into their own channel

Network & Performance

• Major improvements to stability and performance
• Reduced lag and smoother gameplay across the board
