Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam

Release Update and What Comes Next

Polygon Art

Almost a month ago, we shared an update on console certification and the challenges affecting our development schedule. Today, we want to follow up with what this means for the release and what we are working on next.

The release of Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam is moving to January 2027.

The delays in PlayStation certification are the main reason for this change. As outlined in our previous update, the process has required more time and additional work than we had planned for.

We know this means a longer wait. We are using the additional time to bring more content to the game and make meaningful improvements to the experience, including several areas you have repeatedly highlighted in your feedback.

More Content Before Release

Between now and January, we will expand the game with:

  • The complete campaign, bringing the remaining mission into the game.
  • Additional Operations, delivering new singleplayer content beyond the campaign.
  • Expanded and improved features, building on the systems already available.

This gives us more time to finish the remaining content, refine existing missions and bring those improvements together for release.

More Weapons, Including the M60

The long-requested M60 is coming to Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam.

It is part of a much longer list of weapons we are planning to add. There is more to share here, and we will give the upcoming weapons their own dedicated update at a later date.

Improvements Based on Your Feedback

Alongside new content, we are working through several areas that regularly come up in your feedback:

  • Weapon animations: Adding smaller details to improve how weapons look and feel in action.
  • Animation fixes: Addressing bugs and inconsistencies in existing animations.
  • User interface: Giving the UI an overhaul to improve clarity and usability.
  • Weapon balance: Reviewing and adjusting weapon balancing across the arsenal.
  • Multiplayer medic system: Substantially reworking and improving the existing system.
  • Mission balancing: Refining the difficulty and balance of existing missions.
  • AI: Continuing to revise and improve AI behaviour.

These changes address both the larger systems and the smaller details that shape how the game feels from moment to moment.

The First Changes Are Coming in the Next Update

Some of these improvements will already be included in the next update, bringing changes that should make a noticeable difference when you return to the game.

Thank you for your patience, your continued support and the time you spend testing, reporting issues and sharing feedback. That feedback helps us decide where improvements matter most, and we look forward to showing you what we have been working on.
