Blood Reaver

Monthly Update 5

Hell Byte Studios

Delver-ish Devices

The Delvers have finally surfaced from the winding tunnels below the keep. After sorting through the piles of useless scrap they brought with them (and there was a lot), we've unearthed two artefacts of questionable origin and unquestionable power:

The Atlas

While the best defence is a good offence, sometimes the best defence is a giant slab of reinforced steel alloy inlaid with cogs and clockwork.

What do these mechanisms do? Shift the plating to deflect damage? Chime a gong when demons are near? Do they do anything at all? At any rate, keep your fingers clear.

Activating the Atlas will protect you from any attacks that hit from behind. The shield will absorb damage up to three times before it needs to be recharged.

The Hornet

When the Reaver initiates saw a set of spinning blades, we all know what their first thought was. However, now that we've cleaned off all the demon gore, it turns out this little thing can fly!

Mounted with a tiny twin cannon, the Hornet will follow its user from on high, gunning down any foes that come too close. Use it when you need a bit of backup firepower, or to cover yourself while you revive Brother Gregory for the fourth time this round.

When you jump back into the game, you'll find the new abilities at the end of the reward track. We've increased the level cap to 30 to accommodate them, so head in there and start climbing the ranks once more.

As always, we're making an ongoing effort to improve the game's performance and stability. Alongside our regular round of bugfixes, we've just implemented a new bug reporting system, allowing you to send us feedback straight from the pause menu. We're hoping this will help us track down and squash some of the more elusive issues.
