Another update has arrived for Broken Crown , bringing better combat responsiveness, smarter formations, visual improvements, and a first glimpse at one of the most requested features
Smarter Battles
Combat has received several improvements to make armies feel much more responsive on the battlefield.
New Features
Line & Column Formations Formation Facing & Direction Arrow Unit Stamina & Running System New Knockback Animations
Your armies now move, organize, and engage enemies with much greater precision.
Improved Unit AI
Several combat behaviors have been refined.
Fixes & Improvements
Units now engage their intended targets more reliably. Workers use significantly less memory, improving overall performance. Resource colliders have been fixed for more consistent gathering behavior. Selection sounds and battle cries have been improved for better battlefield feedback.
User Interface Improvements
This update also includes a visual refresh across multiple interface elements.
UI Changes
Refreshed UI styling. New troop icons with improved readability. Construction progress bars now display building completion more clearly. Victory screen has been redesigned to provide a cleaner mission summary.
Multiplayer Is Almost Here
The feature many of you have been waiting for is getting very close.
Over the past weeks we've been carrying out decisive multiplayer tests, and the results have been extremely encouraging. The core systems are now working together, bringing Broken Crown one step closer to its biggest milestone yet.
Here's what you'll be able to do:
Create or join multiplayer lobbies. Invite your Steam friends directly into your lobby. Play matches with up to 8 players . Fight together (or against each other) on the battlefield in real time.
While there's still some polishing and testing ahead, multiplayer is now entering its final stages of development.
For the first time, we're excited to share a short gameplay preview of multiplayer in action!
We can't wait to let everyone experience it.
