Capy Castaway update 1.0.3

Hello, Hallo, et Salut Castaways!

Capy is now also available in French and German!

The dev team isn’t able to make it out to gamescom this year, but you might catch a handheld of the demo being toured around by an elusive capybara If you say hi, you may even get one of our updated stickers!

And, since this is a free update, folks will be able to play at home before the hustle and bustle of the world’s biggest gaming convention.

This update also includes bug fixes for audio weirdness, soft-lock fixes, and additional cheat codes!

What’s New

• Added French language support
• Added German language support
• Added more cheat codes

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Corvi’s dialogue bubble could move around while speaking about Mr. Guffin. It is now properly anchored
• Fixed an issue where some achievements relating to the Zelda & Pavo quest did not unlock. If you didn’t get an achievement from their quest - it should unlock once you load your save!
• Fixed an issue where Bread could hold you hostage by not letting you exit dialogue
• Fixed an issue causing audio to flicker in the swamp and other areas
• Fixed a misaligned Capy emote
• Fixed an issue where the test sounds for the SFX volume slider were set up incorrectly and would often fail to play
• Fixed an issue where blooming flowers in the journal could appear unbloomed after reloading
• Fixed a soft lock involving Melancholic Swallow
• Fixed an issue where Wistful Swallow could soft lock the player at the nest But what if I wanted Bread to keep holding me hostage? Haha just kidding...unless?

Balance and Adjustments

• Adjusted Corvi’s positioning during cutscenes to help keep dialogue bubbles stable and readable
• Moved Corvi’s perch in the Neon Sign Graveyard to improve their positioning

Known Issues

We’re aware of the following issues and are currently investigating them:

• Windowed mode is not available - we are looking into adding it

You can report bugs in-game by opening the pause menu and clicking on Bug Report. You can report a bug in Discord by joining our community and then posting in the #Capy-Support channel. When reporting an issue on Discord, you might be asked to include:

• What happened
• Single player or multiplayer co-op
• Your device specifications
• Screenshots or video, if possible
• Your save file or player log, if requested
