Week 6 - Visual Feedback, Effect Colors & Multiplayer Fixes

Week 6 — Visual Feedback, Effect Colors & Multiplayer Fixes
Week 6 is focused on combat feedback, visual customization and general gameplay polish .
This update improves how taking damage feels, adds more control over the look of gameplay effects, and fixes several issues affecting multiplayer and audio.
Improved Damage Feedback
Taking damage now has much stronger visual feedback.
Whenever the player is hit, the screen will briefly flash red , making damage easier to notice even when the arena gets crowded.
The effect only lasts for a fraction of a second, so it remains noticeable without getting in the way of gameplay.
Customizable Effect Colors
A new option has been added to:
Game Setup → Visuals
You can now customize the color used by gameplay effects.
This makes it possible to better match effects with your preferred visual setup — for example, using the same color as your enemies.
It’s another small step toward giving players more control over how Circulo looks during a run.
Multiplayer Boss Camera Improvements
The camera behavior during boss spawns has been improved when playing with multiple players.
Previously, camera zoom could behave incorrectly when a boss entered the arena during multiplayer.
The camera now adjusts more consistently for everyone involved in the run.
Audio Fixes
Several sound-related issues have also been fixed.
In particular, the damage sound effect should no longer be interrupted or lost when other sounds are playing at the same time.
Additional smaller audio issues have been cleaned up as part of the update.
More Polish Ahead
Week 6 is a smaller, polish-focused update compared to some of the previous weeks, but these changes help make combat clearer and multiplayer more consistent.
More improvements are already on the way.
Thanks for playing Circulo and for following the development!
