FULL STEAM DECK SUPPORT!
SquidRockGames
The STEAM DECK UPDATE is here!
Draw on the touch screen, or use our innovative button control scheme to doodle - no matter how you play, Doodle Champs feels great on Deck!
...And with your support, maybe it'll end up being ported to the Nintendo Switch systems too. Though that is a distant dream and would require a lot more funding that I personally don't have at this time. This being a self-funded project means that a Switch 2 version can only happen if many people support the PC release. If you'd like to donate towards a Switch Developer Kit for me and PatricSquid to use to port the game to Switch, please consider donating to my Ko-fi here: https://ko-fi.com/alexsquiddev ✌
In the meantime, PC players will continue to receive free updates! We've got a full roadmap here! No promised timescales, but I will be working hard at my full-time job to fund these future updates. Doodle Champs is an entirely self-funded passion project, so if you'd like to support and speed up future updates for this lil' arty-party game, consider supporting me on Ko-fi . All funds go directly towards development. ✌
Patch notes:
Steam Cloud Saves enabled! Full Steam Deck version released! Added more brush sizes to all game modes! Improved and enlarged UI for all game modes Improved Help UI for all game modes Improved eyedropper tool Improved Canvas Crew performance Canvas Crew rocket now clears RAM usage faster Fixed "Cool Customer" achievement Many bug fixes & misc optimizations
Thanks for supporting my lil' indie game! Doodle Champs is a self-funded game and a love-letter to artists and doodlers being worked on by our small team of two people, so we really appreciate your support and purchases!
Now get out there and become a DOODLE CHAMP!
