Update 1: Twitch chat votes with the room, plus everything since launch

Dub Rumble has been out for three days and this is the first proper update post. Everything in it is live for everyone now. Steam picks the update up on its own, or restart Steam to grab it faster.
Your Twitch chat votes with the room
Streaming Dub Rumble? Your chat can now pick the winner with you.
Open Settings, scroll to Streaming, type your channel name and switch Twitch chat votes on. That is the whole setup. It is read only: no Twitch login, no permissions to grant, nothing is ever posted to your chat.
When the room reaches the vote, every take gets a number and a purple bar. Viewers type !vote 2 , !2 or just 2 , and the bars fill live on everyone's screen, not just yours. One vote per viewer per round.
On the results screen the take chat backed most wears a Chat's favourite badge, and each row shows its chat votes. The players still decide the winner. If you want chat to have a real say, set Chat's pick to "Counts as one extra vote" and your whole chat becomes one more voter: its top take gets one vote, a tie gets nothing. Six friends can never be outvoted by six thousand viewers, but a tie between them can be settled by the crowd.
It works in Couch Party too, and if two streamers are in the same room, both chats count.
Streamer mode , in the same Settings section, hides the room code and the friend code on the lobby screen so nobody reads them off your stream. Click a code pill to copy it and paste it wherever you invite people.
Also in this update
Online Party no longer gets stuck on That's a wrap when the pack was trimmed before the round. This was the pinned known bug in the forum; it is fixed.
A friend who joins through a Steam invite from far away now gets the starter pack from their own copy of the game, so Ready lights up for them too.
Workshop: packs get Dub scene, Language and Characters tags on upload, there is a pack browser inside the game with search, the upload arrow shows Steam's real progress and cannot start the same upload twice, and after a round on a Workshop pack the results screen asks for a quick thumbs up or down for the creator.
Your chosen mic and speakers stick when you join a friend's room over Steam.
Import refuses packs that would play as a still image instead of video, and long pack or character names no longer break the layout.
If you switched to the beta branch earlier to try this, you can switch back to None in Properties, Betas. Both branches have the same build now.
Already live for everyone since launch
These went out over the last three days without a post, so here they are in one place.
Voice effects. In the booth, next to Countdown, the Voice pill gives you Chipmunk, Monster, Echo, Robot or Phone with a strength slider. Hear it plays your mic through the effect live. Your take is recorded clean and the effect plays at the reveal, in the vote and in the saved video, so you can change your mind on a line without recording it again.
Parallel mode. An Online Party casting mode where everyone dubs the whole scene at the same time without hearing each other, against a round clock. Every version plays back in turn, then the room votes.
The room votes. After the watch, everyone picks the take that won. No voting for yourself, picks stay hidden until everyone is in, and the winner is first on the results screen. Voice Match, the accuracy score, is still there as a stat next to each name. It is no longer the verdict.
Take turns, or record all together. Pick Characters, Alternate and Advanced have a Pace setting in the lobby. Take turns is the original: one line at a time while the room listens in over voice chat. All together: everyone records their own lines at once, voice chat goes quiet during a take so nothing is overheard, and the round ends when everyone is done, the host ends it, or the clock runs out.
Six new starter packs cut from the Blender open movies: Sprite Fright, Glass Half, Tears of Steel, Cosmos Laundromat, Elephants Dream and Sintel. All Creative Commons, credited in the game, so there is plenty to play before you import anything.
Smaller things. A recording light while a take is rolling. A booth waveform that shows your real level, with orange where you clipped, and Soft to Loud caps on every mic slider. Save dubbed video has an Open folder button that lands on the file. The Discord button on the main menu, and an FAQ with a short welcome for new players.
If something breaks
Post it in the Discord, in bug-reports, with a screenshot or a clip if you have one: https://discord.gg/knRPtAkqBw . The Steam forums reach me too. This is a one person project and fixes land on the beta branch first, so that is also the place to see them early.
Thanks for playing. Go record something terrible.
