Apocalypse, the first DLC for Escape Simulator 2, is out now! We're excited to send you on a new adventure through a world where things have gone very, very wrong. Grab your friends, follow the clues, and see if you can make it to Sanctuary!

Four brand new rooms

Explore an abandoned metro station , a deserted gas station , a remote desert safe house , and a mysterious underground facility . You'll work with whatever still functions, piece together clues, and solve your way through the remains of civilization. What's in the DLC:

Four new escape rooms to explore solo or with friends. Four new Darkest puzzles for those looking for an extra challenge. New apocalypse-themed outfits to complete your survivor look. To play multiplayer, all party members must own this DLC

So… what actually ended the world?

That's still a mystery! The winner of our “ How the World Ended ” Build-a-Room competition will decide what catastrophe brought this world to an end. Judging has taken a little longer than we hoped, but we should have a winner soon. As an apology for the wait and a thank-you to our lovely builders, everyone who submitted a room will receive Apocalypse DLC for free via Discord!

Free Update for everyone

Today's free update also brings the biggest prop update for the Room Editor: 883 new props from Apocalypse DLC, available to all builders! You don't need to own the DLC to use them, and we can't wait to see what you create.

We also added beards and mustaches to character customization, alongside 100+ fixes and polish improvements across the game.

And, of course, the free VR Update is here too, so you can finally step inside the rooms yourself!
