Firehawk: FPV Drone Shooter

Firehawk Multiplayer Beta: Now Open to Everyone

TruePlayers

Multiplayer Beta is open to everyone

The multiplayer beta is now open to all! Every Firehawk owner can now jump into PvP or Co-op straight from the game-mode screen.

  • Find Game. One button finds the busiest live server worldwide and drops you in. If nobody is online, a dedicated server spins up in your region on demand.
  • Six PvP modes at launch: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, Domination, Bounty Hunter and Death Race. More modes coming.
  • AI bots keep matches full. Bots backfill thin lobbies, play every mode including Domination, chase, evade, grab pickups and hunt objectives, and step aside as humans join. Peer-hosted lobbies get a bot toggle.
  • Matches keep flowing. When a match ends, the next mode and map are picked automatically and start 30 seconds later. The lobby leader can override the pick at any time.
  • New lobby. A rebuilt multiplayer lobby with a 3D drone stage, match card, roster and a two-state loadout deck.
  • Play Nights. Scheduled community sessions show up as a banner in the game with a countdown. Servers are pre-warmed before each one.

Co-op Survival: the full single-player survival mode, now for up to four players

Fight the survival waves together in a peer-hosted session. Invite friends through Steam or use Find Game to join an open squad.

  • Every enemy from single-player is included.
  • Shop, upgrades and perks. The full survival shop with repairs, weapon upgrades with stat panels, and perk pickups all work in co-op. Cash is 80% shared across the squad with a 20% bonus to whoever lands the kill.
  • Difficulty selection and scaling. Pick a difficulty in the lobby. Enemy count, health and boss damage scale with how many players are in, later waves spawn multiple larger bases, and boss abilities target multiple players.
  • Drop in mid-game. Join during wave 1, a shop round or upgrade time and you start immediately with a random weapon. Join mid-wave and you spawn in once the wave ends.
  • Gadgets in co-op. All single-player gadgets are ported with their single-player stats. A few that don't fit co-op are excluded.
  • Spectating, squad UI and kill feed. Watch teammates first-person when you're down, see who's shopping and who's ready, and follow an NPC kill feed with per-enemy names and cash.
  • Choose your drone. Pick between drone types in the co-op lobby, with full stat display.

Three flight weight classes: Light, Medium and Heavy

Every drone now flies on one of three tuned flight configs instead of a single shared model.

  • Light is the racer: lowest mass, snappiest response, highest top speed.
  • Medium is the all-rounder.
  • Heavy is the tank: high mass, maximum stability, still fast.
  • In single-player every drone in the hangar is pre-assigned a class that suits it. In multiplayer you choose the class yourself.
  • Rates. Your rates are one personal setting shared across all three classes and survive respawns and matches. The rates screen has a new Rate Type selector (Betaflight or Actual Rates in deg/s).
  • Gamepad. General gamepad and arcade mode fixes.

New drone models

  • New models and icons for the drone roster.

Big performance pass

  • Load times roughly halved.
  • Texture streaming and compression enabled and set correctly across the project.
  • Smarter LOD with wide FOV. Level of detail now compensates for your field of view, so high-FOV flying no longer pops detail out early.
  • New default quality presets, VSync and shadow setting fixes, fog removed from the Medium tier, and long-term framerate fixes for extended sessions.

Full changelog
