Security Report: Recent Exploit & Actions Taken

Hey, everyone,
We’d like to share an update on an exploit identified in Gray Zone Warfare and the actions we’re taking against players who abused it.
The Issue and Its Consequences
During the Update 0.4 cycle, players discovered an exploit that allowed items to be duplicated under specific circumstances involving death by helicopter. The exploit was addressed in a subsequent hotfix and is no longer replicable .
This issue negatively impacted the in-game economy and, consequently, the PvP experience. Some players used duplicated resources to gain an unfair advantage, including purchasing and repeatedly using large quantities of mortar strikes against other players.
We conducted a thorough investigation to ensure that the enforcement is based on confirmed evidence and proportionate to the extent of the abuse. That investigation has now concluded, and we have identified close to 40 accounts that deliberately exploited the issue.
This week, we will take action against these accounts . Measures will include temporary account suspensions and account wipes.
Thank you to everyone who reported the issue and continued playing in good faith while we investigated the situation. Our goal is to maintain a fair experience for everyone.
What’s Next
This announcement is the first step in our effort to be more transparent about how we enforce fair play in Gray Zone Warfare.
As promised, we want to provide greater visibility into our broader anti-cheat efforts and how we address cheating, exploitation, and other malicious practices. We’ll share more information about these efforts and upcoming improvements soon, including a Security Report on penalties issued during the Update 0.4 cycle.
Every Move Matters,
