[0.9.7] New Map: Araf

Hello everyone!

With Update 0.9.7 , Gun Up is officially one step closer to full release Before releasing the Early Access, I wanted to add more content, improve core systems, and fix a large number of bugs and hopefully, nothing breaks along the way.

Below are the most notable additions and changes in this update:

New Map: Araf

The new Araf map introduces several fresh mechanics and secrets:

A teleporter system A new unique enemy type: Astro Removable debris to open up new paths Purchasable drinks that grant temporary buffs 2 hidden secret quests

Zombie Skins & Visual Clarity

Zombies now have distinct visual skins that indicate their special traits:

Fast Zombie → Red sports sneakers Tank Zombie → Wearing a traffic cone Astro Zombie → Astronaut helmet

Many more variations are planned for future updates.

Enemy Special Abilities

Some enemy types now come with unique behaviors :

Hounds perform a dash attack when they get close to the player Astro Zombies self-destruct , dealing damage to nearby players

Minor Features & Improvements

Config save system – your settings are now remembered between sessions New achievements Pathfinding improvements (enemies may still get stuck in rare cases) Improved entity collision – only enemy legs collide with walls now Performance optimizations Texture quality improvements Improved sound effects More sound effects added Increased use of particle effects Weapon balance adjustments Pricing balance changes Improved enemy hit feedback Floating text for enemy kill rewards Ability to switch your held weapon with a gun inside the Mix Machine UI clarity improvements Mix Machine delay changed from seconds to waves Translation improvements (Please let me know if you notice any translation issues!)
