This update focuses on team coordination and refreshing our roster:
Shared Investigation Board
The biggest change in this update is how you track entities. We have removed individual writing in journals. Instead, all evidence is now marked on a shared investigation board visible to the entire team.
- Team Synergy: By moving away from individual checklists, we aim to differentiate HAUNTMATES from other games in the genre.
- Communication: This change is designed to make the game more communicative and fun, forcing players to share their findings in real-time.
The Spider Rework
Our resident eight-legged terror, The Spider, has undergone a complete rework.
- New Mechanics: We've overhauled its behavior to be significantly more interesting and engaging than the previous version.
- Gameplay Impact: Expect a much more dynamic encounters.
