Performance Optimization & Starter Pack Fix (Build 1.0.3)
Altergaze
This update focuses on performance optimization and accessibility, ensuring a smoother experience for players on lower-end hardware and Steam Deck.
We also fixed an occasional issue the Premium Battle Pass activation when you have the Starter Pack DLC (special thanks to Steven and Kenny for pointing this out!).
Changes
- Performance & Optimization
- Adjusted quality settings to increase framerates on low-end devices, including the addition of a new “Very Low” preset.
- Improved performance for particle effects and destructible objects.
Steam Deck Support
- Implemented device-specific performance adjustments.
- Improved UI visibility, specifically increasing font and icon sizes for better readability on smaller screens.
DLC & Store
- Fixed an issue where the Starter Pack DLC was occasionally not being recognized.
General Improvements
- Resolved various minor UI hiccups within the main menu.
- Improved audio quality across the tutorial map (Prologue).
