HYPERBEAT Multiplayer Preview

Hey there!
Chance here from the HYPERBEAT team with an update about what Alice and I have been up to. After some much needed vacation, and some fun prototyping a new project (which we’re very excited about) - we’ve been hard at work on a new update. Here’s a preview of what that’s going to look like:
- Five new gameplay tracks from the B-sides to fill out the after credits book in the game, with 15 new charts.
- Lobby based multiplayer in the Wellspring with a new “style” customization option and the addition of emotes.
- Lobby based leaderboards to compete against your friends or strangers.
We’re also going to be opening beta-testing for multiplayer soon, so if you’re interested, please join our discord to stay in the loop, we’d love to hangout and play some charts together while stress testing the feature!
There’s lots on the horizon for HYPERBEAT in 2026 - with a future update focused on a user-friendly map editor and more leaderboard options. Thank you to everyone again for your time and interest in the game, we’re looking forward to working hard to deliver more HYPERBEAT, and we’re so excited to share with you everything we’ve been working on.
