This update introduces new cards, a new system that lets players discard 2 cards and draw 1, and significant AI improvements. The UI has also received a major overhaul. There have also been various tweaks to balance the gameplay
New Features
New Card Types Added:
"Strategic Planning Session" - Draw 3 cards. Requires 2 cards to play "Command Staff Conference" - Draw 4 cards. Requires 2 cards to play "Grand Strategy Unveiled" - Draw 5 cards. Requires 2 cards to play "Hold the Line" - Protect a tile from attacks from other players until your next turn. Requires 2 cards to play "Naval Route Explored" - Place a free water route "Factory Retrofit" - Upgrade a factory for free (Tier 1) "Infrastructure Modernization" - Upgrade a factory for free (Tier 2) "Maximize Industrial Output" - Upgrade a factory for free (Tier 3)
Discard Card System:
Players can now discard 2 cards to draw 1 new card
Balance Changes
AI Improvements:
AI delays reduced (2s → 1.5s long delay) Numerous AI behavior tweaks for attacking, defending, and card play AI now better evaluates when to buy units when attacking and defending
Card Rebalancing:
Cards required to play reduced from 3 to 2 for most cards Adjusted quantities of various cards in the deck "Air Power Arrives" and "Heavy Armor Deployed" unit amounts rebalanced
Map Changes
The average economy multiplier has been increased. This decreases the chance that a player who gets an early x5 tile will win the game Reduced the number of land tiles. This increases the chance that islands or a peninsula to form
UI/UX Improvements
Card UI Overhaul:
Better visual feedback for playable/unplayable cards Cards show border highlighting when playable. Improved card selection and highlighting system Other UI elements move out of the way when selecting cards
Tutorial/Tooltip Improvements:
Moved the tooltip to the top left corner Better tooltip visibility and behavior Improved toggle between show/hide states
Dice Roll Interface
Resized the UI and moved it to the top of the screen Added compact dice display UI for non-participating players
New Game Window
Moved window to bottom center of screen Resized the window
