Keep Digging v2.1.0.9805 has been released.
In this update, we have made major revisions to graphics-related settings and resources so that the game can launch and run more stably across a wider range of PC environments.
To improve launch issues that occurred on some systems, we have reviewed the use of rendering features that can place a heavy load on hardware and readjusted the in-game graphics resources.
If you continue to experience issues, we would appreciate it if you could report them with details about the situation in which they occurred.
Optimization & Performance
Discontinued the use of rendering features such as Nanite, Lumen, and MegaLight to improve performance. Reviewed, optimized, and readjusted the overall graphics resources. Reduced performance drops when moving quickly or digging at high speed. Added DirectX 11 compatibility mode. Please try this option if the game does not launch. Adjusted some maps from Keep Digging Version 1.0 and reduced high-load elements such as grass.
Balance Adjustments
Added fast travel points. Batteries now recharge near fast travel points.
Bug Fixes
Conducted testing across various hardware environments and fixed an issue where the game would not launch on some systems. Fixed an issue in multiplayer where terrain synchronization could sometimes fail.
Other
Enhanced the crash reporter so that comments can now be submitted when a crash occurs. If you experience a crash and know the situation or reproduction steps, it would be very helpful if you could include them in the comment field.
