September 2 Patch Notes – Zombie Wave Countdown Control Is Here!
The multiplayer mode is coming along nicely, but running into unexpected bugs when testing with more than two players (yes, our testing team is really that small!). We need a bit more time to iron those out, so we kindly ask for your patience—we'll most likely package and upload the multiplayer update next week!
Here are the patch details for today’s update:
I. New Features & Content
- Added the ability to feed candy to small zombies to reset the zombie wave countdown timer!
- Increased the drop rate for Flamethrowers and their exclusive ammo, along with improved visual effects for drops, upgrades, reloading, and firing.
- Added hit-explosion visual effects for Firefly Ammo.
- Updated the main world map, beaches, deserts, desert flora, and building visibility ranges (not yet fully deployed in-game).
II. Optimizations & Adjustments
- Slapping to trigger an early zombie wave now advances the timer by 1 minute instead of the previous default.
- Adjusted zombie wave progression, removing repetitive low-tier zombie waves in later stages.
- Optimized mercenary equipment, stats, and interaction UI, and adjusted starting gear for mercenaries.
- Standardized naming conventions across firearms, special ammo, shop items, drops, and crafting recipes.
- Rebalanced weapon attachment attributes and removed ineffective affixes (such as sound-related stats).
- Optimized the left-click firing process for ranged weapons.
- Polished the Soccer Multiplayer Mode and added localization support for select languages.
- Improved progress bar visual styling.
III. Bug Fixes
- Fixed issues related to the Flamethrower.
- Fixed menu refresh, closing, and data display glitches.
- Fixed save-file container overwrites, along with abnormal mercenary reloading and rolling animations.
