Update 0.7.7 - More Choice, More Juice

Another update is live!

This update introduces more player choice at the start of each adventure, several new weapons, and a number of quality-of-life improvements.

Companion & Rune Improvements

• Every companion can now grant you a unique starting rune:
• Gothar → Berserk Blast Rune
• Lilith → Health Blast Rune
• Brin → Electric Discharge Rune
• Ana → Shrapnel Shot Rune

Added a new rune: Electric Discharge.

• Fires electric projectiles that briefly stun enemies.

You can now choose:

• Which companion follows you on your adventure.
• Which starting rune you begin with.

This means you can, for example, take Ana's Shrapnel Shot Rune while adventuring alongside Gothar, allowing for much more build variety.

New Weapons

• Added Solakor — a sword that can ignite enemies on stabbing attacks.
• Added Glacior — a sword that slows enemies on stabbing attacks.
• Added Voltor — a sword that stuns enemies on stabbing attacks. (reworked)
• The Iron Sword now has a new appearance.

Quality of Life

• Added level-up outlines to the ALMA and Companion buttons.
• The outline appears when skill points are available, making level-ups easier to notice.

The last selected item slot is now remembered between level transitions.

Selected rune slots on weapons are now preserved when changing levels.

Added shockwave visual effects to knockbacks.

Added a red screen overlay when Health drops below 25%, making critical situations easier to recognize.

Balance Changes

• Nerfed the movement speed bonus provided by the Warlord of Speed.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the parallax background cutoff in Challenge Rooms and Arena Rooms.
• Fixed the sorting order inside Challenge Rooms.
