What can get you banned

Following the addition of the “modded lobby” option, I am sharing a clear list of what is bannable. Note that these rules are more of heads up on the general idea, and we will humanly treat edge cases. In general, if you don’t have bad intentions and are willing to change your behavior in problematic situations, you should be fine. If you feel like you’ve been unfairly banned, make sure to open a ticket on our Discord server dedication section :

CHEATSIs considered cheating : Using external tools to modify your game, in any way. Any form of modification is considered cheating, even if it doesn’t provide unfair advantage. Save editing to modify your skin outside of the intended options is included. Is not considered cheating : Communication outside of the game (this is just lack of fairplay, but not actual cheat). The above do not apply in modded lobbies, as modifying your game is necessary to install mods. What is considered cheating in these lobbies is 100% decided by the host, but won’t lead to game wide bans. UNOFFICIAL GAME VERSIONS Obtaining the game from unofficial sources is forbidden. The only official way of obtaining the game is through Steam. And any other method is bannable. INSULTS/HARASSMENT This is a social game and not everyone has the same humor and boundaries. It be hard to tell apart misplaced humor from intentional harm, and we don’t want to be restrictive on how you are having fun with your friends, but deteriorating the experience of other people in public lobbies is not something we can’t allow even if it’s not intentional, so repeated reports for your behavior may lead to sanctions. Even in modded lobbies, abusing cheats to repeatedly kill people or anything similar falls under the “harassment” category and may result in sanctions as well.
