Party lobby
- Group up with a friend before entering a match. Return to the same group after each match

Global leaderboard
- All MMR and ranked stats are stored in Steam to prevent cheating/spoofing
Ranked seasons
- Resets every 4 months (60% MMR correction)
Distance-based server browser
- Prioritizes low ping
PvP Invasion (seamless transition between offline and online play)
- Enable or disable invasion inside of select maps
- MMR system
- Glicko-2 algorithm (variant of ELO but more suitable for 1v1 competitive games like chess)
- One public MMR rating
- One hidden Rating Deviation (RD) value
- Used to determine the confidence in a player’s MMR and for calibration ex. first game? in placement? on a win streak?
One hidden Volatility value
- Used to gauge how consistent a player’s performance is and inform the RD value ex. did the Bronze win against the Diamond player? If so, was it a fluke or a disconnect? If they do it again, raise their MMR bonus.
Placement/calibration
- 5 placement matches to receive an MMR
Bracketed leagues
- Bronze>Silver>Gold>Diamond>Master
- No divisions within a bracket
Ranked search window
- 0-15s +-100 MMR > 15-30s +-200 MMR > 30-60s +-350 MMR > 60s+ +-600 MMR (cap)
Anti-abuse detection
- Smurfing, intentional losing, dodge penalty, avoid repeat players, demotion protection…
