Chicago, 1926. Genny was a bank clerk until Don Michele took everything from him. Now he has a gun and a hat pulled low over his eyes.
The Mafia Hero: Streets of Survival demo is available to download right now from the store page. It's free and no key is required. The full game launches in August.
What's in it
- Online co-op for up to 4 players. Enemies scale with your party size. It's the thing we built the entire game around.
- The whole law against you. The waves get nastier every two minutes: you start against neighbourhood vigilantes and end up facing the army, mounted machine guns and grenadiers included.
- The armored truck. The demo's boss: it hunts you down with telegraphed rocket barrages and rings of bullets, and while its shields are up you can't touch it — you have to force it to leave itself open. In the full game in August it'll be just the first of a series of bosses, each with its own mechanics.
- Four playable criminals. Genny, Dylan, Milo and Athena — each with their own style and their own score to settle with Don Michele.
- Your criminal empire. Distilleries, speakeasies and casinos that keep paying out while you fight.
- Builds that never repeat. Incendiary, explosive and freezing rounds, turrets, bodyguards and a dog that collects your money for you.
