Mall Simulator Together — Update
New Content
- New shop: Pub
- Crafted beer can now be grabbed straight from the crate and drunk, giving you a drunk effect for a few seconds
- New decor tied to the pub launch
- New staff needs system: at the end of each day, employees check how many tasks they got done and whether their pay matches expectations. If it doesn't, their patience drops. Once patience hits zero, they quit (right now low patience doesn't affect work speed, it's purely about quitting)
- Mailbox added to the OfficePC: system notifications and low staff patience alerts show up here
- New News events that affect gameplay
- New warehouse shelf types
- Bank balance info added to the UI (hidden if quick cashout is enabled)
UI and HUD
- New HUD design
- Removed the Orders tab from the Shop tablet UI
- Functional decor in the shop tablet moved to its own tab
Improvements and Balance
- Improved customer behavior when shelves block the path to the shelf they need
- Improved the item shelving effect
- Improved cleaner behavior
- Sped up day/night cycle
- Lowered the chance of disasters (pipe bursts, fusebox breaking, warehouse fire)
- Optimized some decor objects
Bug Fixes
- Items no longer stay stuck in hand after being dropped
- Order timer no longer resets when reopening orders on the tablet
- The "no items unlocked for this shelf" message now disappears immediately when opening the tablet
- Fixed an issue where moving a butcher shop shelf spawned a grocery supply box instead of a meat supply box
- Fixed items displaying incorrectly on shelves
- Fixed being unable to grab the cart handle again after moving it
- Fixed mall visual bugs
- Fixed shop customization not saving
