I’m working on the next big step for MegaDope 2D: LTWD — Leaderboards Till We Die!

The idea is simple: the same LTID world, now with your friends alongside you. LTWD is being built to let you take on that world together, with a goal of up to four players total .

This update is in development. There is no ETA or release date yet.

Two first. Then three. Then four.

I’m taking this one step at a time so I can see how the game holds together as more players join the chaos.

• Start with two players: You and one friend, getting the cooperative experience working and tested.
• Then aim for three: Expand once the two-player experience is holding up.
• Work toward four: The full group is the goal, with each step depending on how testing goes.

Basically: let’s see how much trouble two of you can cause before I let all four of you loose.

Bonus reveal: Nyx is coming to the roster

LTWD is also planned to bring more new characters into the roster. Here’s a first look at one of them: Nyx , a dark gunslinger with a pistol in each hand and plenty of undead in her way.

This is an early look at the direction I’m taking. LTWD is not available to play yet, and I’m not putting a date on it until I have a clearer picture of how it performs and plays together.
