Quality Update — Thank You for Your Feedback
Quality Update — Thank You for Your Feedback
Since the launch on July 7th, we’ve been listening closely to all your feedback and adjusting the game to make the experience clearer, fairer, and much more enjoyable. Here are the changes included in this update:
AI Improvements
In the first 6 levels, the AI will be easier to defeat, making it ideal for learning the mechanics.
After that, it will adopt a more professional style—smarter, more strategic, and better adapted to your gameplay.
Prison Improvements
The orientation of several puzzles has been improved to make them more intuitive.
The Prison no longer requires a level to enter: You can access it at any time, as long as you have two match victories.
The crouching system has been fixed. Previously, the “crouch” control appeared in every key‑binding section. It now displays correctly and works as intended.
Standard Mode Now Available in 1 vs 1
Standard Mode, which was previously exclusive to 4‑player matches, will now default to 1 vs 1 when you enter it. You can still switch back to 4 players before starting the match.
Additionally, you can change the variant of Standard Mode to better match your preferred playstyle.
Redesigned Lobby Menu
The lobby menu has been improved to be much more intuitive, clear, and easy to navigate.
It’s now simpler to create matches, join games, understand the rules, and view the host’s configuration.
Progression and XP
XP gain has been increased to make leveling up faster.
This directly addresses player feedback about progression feeling too slow.
End‑of‑Match Feedback
At the end of each match, you will now see how many points you earned and how they affect your progression.
Character Shop Improvements
A clearer indication has been added to show where to record your voice, helping you give your character a stronger identity.
Better Mission Explanation
At the start of the game, your main objective is now explained more clearly, helping new players understand the flow from the very first minute.
Button to Leave the Match
A new button has been added to leave the match whether you are a client or the host.
If you are the host, the game will warn you that you may be penalized if you leave while other players are still inside.
New In‑Game Tips
New personal tips from me as the developer have been added, designed to help you exponentially improve your strategy and gameplay.
Thank You for Your Support
We will continue working on more improvements, adjustments, and content. Your feedback is helping MEMO R.I.P. grow every day.
