Neon Sector - ver. 0.0.7 Update
Hello, this is SaveFourIntGames. Here are the update notes for Neon Sector 0.0.7.
1. Third Player Character Added: Defense Type
A third player character, the Defense type, has been added. You can now select the Defense type character when creating a character. The Defense type has higher Health and Shield than other characters, but has lower Stamina and slower movement speed.
Health: 120 / Shield: 60 / Stamina: 90 / Defense: 1 / Movement Speed: 450 cm/s
2. Quest List Added
The UI in the upper-left corner of the HUD has been changed from the Controls UI to the Quest List.
This area displays the quests you have accepted. Main quests are shown in yellow, while side quests are shown in white. When a quest is completed, its icon changes to a check mark and the text turns light green.
You can press the O key to show or hide the Quest List. Accepted quests are automatically added to the Quest List. If you want to add a specific quest to the list, check “Add to Quest List” in the Quest window. Up to 5 quests can be registered in the Quest List, and main quests will always be displayed at the top. Additionally, when you complete a quest, a notification will show which quest was completed.
3. Clue Logs Added
A Clue Logs button has been added to the Quest window, which can be opened with the Q key. Clue Logs is a screen where you can view records of quest items you have obtained. These records are related to the story of Neon Sector, so if you have obtained any quest items, you can check them here. More clues will continue to be added through future updates. In multiplayer, both the host and participants can view these records.
4. Objective Direction Indicator Added
An Objective Direction Indicator has been added to the top center of the screen.
This UI displays the remaining distance and direction to objectives such as exits, boss zones, and quest locations at the top center of the HUD. Each objective marker moves left or right based on the direction the player is facing, and the closer the objective is to the front, the closer the marker appears to the white center line. Like the minimap, this UI is only active during raids. To display a quest location on the Objective Indicator, check “Add Objective Marker” in the Quest window. Only one objective marker can be added at a time.
5. Changes 5-1) The maximum number of players, including the host, has been increased to 3.
5-2) Weapons and throwables can no longer be held in the hideout. However, they can still be held in the shooting range map.
5-3) A slight screen shake has been added in the direction of gunfire, and the right-click aiming crosshair has been changed.
5-4) A bullet fly-by sound has been added when player or enemy bullets pass close to players or enemies.
5-5) Throwables can now be used while holding a gun. However, firing the gun during the throwing animation will cancel the throw.
5-6) The projectile speed of shotgun pellets has been increased.
5-7) The crosshair color has been changed from sky blue to white with a black outline.
5-8) Pressing F10 now hides the HUD. Pressing F10 again while hidden will show the HUD again.
5-9) Gun items can now be manually loaded with ammunition by right-clicking. You can select which ammo grade to load.
5-10) When defeating enemies or picking up items from the ground, the gained experience and acquired items will now be displayed.
5-11) The results screen now shows the number of enemies defeated and the experience gained during the raid.
5-12) In the settings window, “Language” has been changed to “System,” where you can now turn language and other settings on or off.
5-13) The area name and tip text have been added to the loading screen.
5-14) The player's inventory space has been expanded from 12 slots to 18 slots.
6. Bug Fixes

6-2) Fixed an issue in Neon Forest where throwables could pass through doors.
6-3) Fixed an issue in raids where ammunition loaded into equipped weapons was shared between weapons of the same type when picked up.
6-4) Fixed an issue where some loaded ammunition disappeared when pressing the unload ammo button while the inventory was full and multiple grades of ammunition were loaded in a gun.
6-5) Fixed an issue where equipment in a chest appeared as “?” when swapping it with currently equipped gear.
Thank you.
