Enter the Glitch Protocol

Step into GLITCH PROTOCOL — a dedicated challenge built around the Glitch Nightmare guardian.

Start with an SMG and no powers or upgrades. Survive all three phases, defeat the guardian, and make it to extraction.

A More Demanding Boss Fight

The Glitch Nightmare guardian now features 45 attacks, sharper reactions to your movement, and more detailed, independently animated body parts.

Sprite-shaped hitboxes and clearer attack warnings make every dodge easier to read. Learn its patterns, survive the combos, spot the exposed core, and use the opening to strike back.

A Clearer Battlefield

Elite enemies now have 16 distinct sprites across four enemy types and four affinities.

The old rotating rings and labels are gone. Dangerous variants can now be recognized directly by their appearance, making fights cleaner and easier to read.

Better Controls & Co-op Support

Hold U or RB to open the weapon wheel and quickly switch between collected weapons.

During the final guardian encounter, approach a fallen teammate and hold E to revive them and bring them back into the fight.

Mode selection is now available when creating a multiplayer lobby and when changing the lobby's mode.

Recovery Improvements — 4.10.1

Recovery now begins immediately once its cooldown is ready.

Stop moving to restore the first HP immediately, then regain 1 HP every second while remaining still.

Brief movement no longer forces you to wait through another full second. Healing pauses while moving and stops while paused or dead.

Two New Achievements

• Nightfall Override — Win GLITCH PROTOCOL and successfully extract.

• Beyond the Thirtieth — Complete the entire Classic Tower.

THE GOD has also been updated. It now requires every achievement in the current collection.

When new achievements are introduced, you'll need to complete the newly missing requirements to earn the skin and completion achievement again. Previously completed achievements remain earned.

Leaderboards Have Arrived

A new LEADERBOARDS screen is now available directly from the main menu.

Four Top 100 categories are available:

• Kills

• Classic Wins

• Protocol Wins

• Protocol Speedruns

Rankings display your position, Steam avatar, player name, and either your score or completion time.

Visible leaderboards automatically refresh while connected to Steam. Score submissions remain subject to Steam service limits.
