Pathless Woods — opentest Beta Branch Update 0.6.1.4

This update is for the opentest beta branch.

New Features & Adjustments

Reworked skin unlocks: using a character's skin fragment now adds progress toward a randomly selected skin for that character that is not yet complete. Collect enough fragments to unlock it.

Skin fragments now stay in your inventory until used and can be kept or passed to other players. Existing skin scrolls remain usable.

Added irrigation from nearby water: soft soil within two tiles of a water source can stay watered when the height requirements are met, reducing the need for repeated watering.

Added a performance report option to the pause menu. If you encounter stuttering, you can record approximately 30 seconds of performance data and submit it to help us investigate.

Adjusted the pause menu layout.

Bug Fixes

Fixed certain equipment components not receiving the intended stat benefits at higher star ratings, and corrected their displayed stats.

Fixed building recipe scrolls being consumed without unlocking a recipe and drawing recipes that were already unlocked. Eligible missing recipes will also be restored in affected older saves.

Fixed Steam Cloud saves not updating after subsequent saves, and improved conflict messages and overwrite protection when downloading saves.

Fixed an issue that prevented some older saves from saving properly after visiting the Phoenix map for the first time.

Fixed incorrect barrel positioning and interaction behavior when placing an existing barrel into a water purifier.

Fixed incorrect water readings for the water purifier's internal tank.

Fixed scrolling through menus and switching hotbar slots not working with some mice.

Fixed blank options for certain NPC farming professions in Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese.

Multiplayer reminder: Before playing together, please make sure the host, all joining players, and any dedicated server are running version 0.6.1.4 on the opentest beta branch.
