PixARK 1.241 Patch Notes: The new creature Gigantoraptor is now available!

The brand‑new creature, Gigantoraptor, has joined PixARK!

Gigantoraptor is a most unusual dinosaur. It features a massive beak and powerful hind‑limbs, and its body is almost fully covered in feathers, with particularly striking plumage on its forelimbs and tail. It can run at high speed and possesses considerable strength.

Though relatively docile by nature, Gigantoraptor is highly alert. It will initiate attacks if players or other creatures get too close.

It is an omnivore with a broad diet. Berries, crops, meat, and fertilized eggs can all serve as its food source.

• PixArk: Golden Secret Realm
• Skypiea: Mystic Valley
• Terracrypt: Thorn Thicket Cavern

Taming Method

Gigantoraptor is tamed via knockout taming. During taming, feed it fertilized eggs from the following creatures:

• Brontosaurus
• Quetzalcoatlus
• Frozen Quetzalcoatlus
• Other 9‑star creatures

Saddle Crafting

• The Gigantoraptor Saddle is unlocked at Level 60 and can be crafted by hand.

Combat Abilities

Left Mouse Button: Peck Strike foes with its massive beak for standard attacks.

Right Mouse Button: Claw Strike Attack enemies using its forelimbs. Feathers on its forelimbs disrupt targets and have a chance to blind them.

C‑Key: Defensive Stance Gigantoraptor drops into a defensive crouch, rapidly consuming its food value to regenerate health. While in Defensive Stance, Gigantoraptor cannot move or be pushed, but may still turn. Left‑click and right‑click attacks remain usable during this stance.

Gigantoraptor builds up Rage when taking damage. Higher Rage grants increased attack power and reduces incoming damage. This ability can only be activated when its health drops below a certain threshold. Defensive Stance will automatically end once health recovers to a specified percentage.

Unique Abilities

Glide Descent Hold Spacebar after jumping to make Gigantoraptor descend slowly.

Collector’s Loot Male Gigantoraptors have a chance to drop the item Gigantoraptor’s Collection upon killing creatures.

Egg‑Assisted Incubation Place fertilized eggs inside Gigantoraptor’s inventory to accelerate egg incubation. Hold the E key and select Incubate Fertilized Eggs . Fertilized eggs will incubate gradually inside its inventory. Incubation speed scales with Gigantoraptor’s level; maximum speed reaches 0.5× the regular incubation rate. Incubation consumes large amounts of Gigantoraptor’s food value.

Eggs will not hatch inside its inventory. Players must take eggs out and place them on the ground, then wait for hatching under suitable environmental conditions.

Juvenile Care Gigantoraptor can tend to nearby juveniles, preventing them from starving to death. Hold the E key and select Care for Juveniles . Lead young creatures close to Gigantoraptor. When juveniles become hungry, Gigantoraptor will automatically spend its own food value to feed them.

When a juvenile becomes eligible for imprinting, Gigantoraptor will consume Gigantoraptor’s Collection from its inventory while feeding, automatically completing the imprinting process for the juvenile.

The maximum number of juveniles Gigantoraptor can support scales with its level; higher levels allow feeding more juveniles simultaneously. Male Gigantoraptors consume more food value than females when caring for juveniles.

Important Note: Egg‑incubation and juvenile‑care functions only work while the player stays near the Gigantoraptor!

Adventurers may seek and tame Gigantoraptor across PixArk, Skypiea and Terracrypt.

• Fixed an issue where the Abyssal Dragon saddle could attach multiple external drill bits at the same time.
• Fixed uneven tunnel geometry generated by Abyssal Dragon external drill bits during upward, horizontal and downward drilling.
