Project Microchip — Update v0.7.3
A new update is now live for Project Microchip! This update focuses on items, combat balance, audio, UI improvements, and general bug fixes.
Items & Weapons
- Pistol Fire Rate Adjusted — Added a short delay between pistol shots to prevent players from firing too rapidly.
- Pistol Damage Reduced — The pistol's damage has been reduced to improve combat balance.
- Pistol Ammo Reduced — Pistols found inside Supply Crates now contain 3 bullets instead of 5.
- Weapon Usage Bug Fixed — Fixed an issue where the pistol and baseball bat could stop working when used repeatedly or when switching between them quickly.
- Weapon Switching Improved — Improved the transition between the pistol and baseball bat for a more consistent combat experience.
- Item Interaction Improvements — Improved the reliability of item interactions during gameplay.
Audio
- Footstep Volume Reduced — Player footsteps are now quieter to prevent movement sounds from being too loud during gameplay.
- Improved the overall balance between footsteps, weapons, and other important gameplay sounds.
UI Improvements
- Updated the in-game UI.
- Improved UI readability and visual consistency.
- Adjusted various interface elements for a cleaner and smoother gameplay experience.
