Regarding Reported Save Data Issues

We are currently looking into and investigating reported save data issues for "Rise of the Ronin" steam edition.

In the mean time, please try methods below for potential fixes:

・The issue may be caused when the "Documents" folder is set for file sharing. Check whether one of the file sharing services below has been set. If so, turn it off and check if the issue is resolved. - Google drive - MS OneDrive - Dropbox Please refer to the customer support page for more details. 【Steam】Cannot save/load

・ Retrieving and using back up save data Save data Location: \Documents\KoeiTecmo\Ronin\Savedata\(Steam Account ID) Each save will be stored in the following folders: Manual save data: "SAVEDATA**" folder (** is number between 00~49) Auto save data: "SAVEDATAAUTO" folder

Rename the BACKUP.BIN in the folder of the save you wish to recover to SAVEDATA.BIN, and replace the old file.

・Activating Steam Cloud could restore the save when running the game If prompted to choose which save file to keep, we recommend to rename the save data and store it somewhere before proceeding with using the save from Steam Cloud.
