Salvete Romans!
We apologize for the late arrival of this post! Something went amiss in the post-scheduling system!
This week we've got some VERY exciting news for you all, so let's not dally!
Steam October Sale!
Romestead is part of the Steam October Sale, which means you can now get Romestead for you and your friends with a 20% Discount!
Don't miss out!
Mundus Cerialis
Running from October 1st all throughout October is our first ever Seasonal Event!
This is a small event that we put together to celebrate the autumn vibes hitting Sweden, and the upcoming spooky season of Halloween, based on a real ancient Roman tradition!
Event Details
You do NOT need to make a new world to play this update!
To participate in the event, speak to the friendly spirit in your town!
For the friendly spirit to appear, you need to have progressed through the desert and defeat the bosses there. The friendly spirit will appear at your town the next day.
We highly recommend end-game gear for this event. The reason for this is to ensure that you are ready for the challenge that the event brings.
DISCLAIMER: The event is replayable as long as you save the items that start the in-game challenge. They will not disappear when the event is over, but the friendly spirit will.
Additionally, the event is not yet fully localized, and you can expect this to be updated over time as the translations finish. As always, if you wish to help with localization for your language, please join our Discord server and ping the Community Manager Vicky.
Historical Background
The Mundus Cerialis was a pit believed to be a gate to the underworld. Three times during the autumn months, this pit would be opened to allow the spirits inside to commune with and walk amongst the mortals.
But... you haven't built a Mundus Cerialis... so where is it?
What's Next?
Work on the next major biome continues with great strides! We are highly looking forward to sharing with you what's to come in the future.
We sincerely hope you'll enjoy the new event and all its rewards!
Until next time,
Roma Aeterna!
