Update v0.9.5 Is Live: The Complete Campaign Is Here

v0.9.5 - July 2026. This is the first major Early Access update. All 500 levels are unlocked, the full story is in the game, and every bit of it is playable today.

I wanted the complete campaign in your hands before 1.0 so I can hear what you think about the whole thing, not just the front half. Now that the deeper levels are in, I'd love to hear how they play for you.

The Full Campaign

• All 500 levels are live. Nothing is gated behind the full release anymore.
• The complete story is now in the game, start to finish.
• Full 2-player co-op across every level.

More Bosses (you asked for this)

• Boss fights are now twice as frequent, with a new boss every 25 levels.
• 20 bosses total. Beat one to unlock it as a playable snake.

New End-Game Food

You wanted more variety deeper in the run, so five new food types now appear across the back half of the campaign, each with its own powerful effect:

• Hover Frog (Level 250)
• Cherries (Level 300)
• Egg (Level 350)
• Phantom Frog (Level 400)
• Pepper (Level 450)

The Full Roster

• Unlock 30 playable snakes total, each with its own stats. See character stats for details.

Fixes and Quality

• The red Stun Frog screen effect is now hidden when two or more human players are in a match, so it no longer washes out the shared screen for everyone.
• Fixed a win condition bug that could trigger when you earned the final campaign level point while shrinking.

Coming at 1.0 (July 22, 2026)

1.0 is close. This build is about getting the full campaign into your hands and hearing what lands and what doesn't. 1.0 will bring polish, bug fixes, and changes driven by the feedback you give me on this version. Your progress carries straight over. 1.0 won't reset anything.
