Sous Raccoon 1.0 is here!
Sous Raccoon 1.0 is here!
Thank you to everyone who has been with our raccoon kitchen throughout Early Access. Your feedback and bug reports are truly what got the game to this day. Update 1.0 is our biggest update ever, packed with a new mode, minigames, skins, and room decoration.
New Mode: Endless Mode
Keep the restaurant running for as long as you can handle it. The longer you last, the harder it gets, with more customers and more monsters every day. When your run ends you get a score summary, plus a Steam Leaderboard to compete with your friends and players around the world.
The Final Boss
After keeping it under wraps for so long, the final boss has finally arrived, and it is bigger than ever. Want to know what it looks like? You will have to make it all the way to Stage 4!
The Bar and 3 Minigames
Step into the new bar in the Lobby, solo or in Co-op. Each minigame has its own Steam Leaderboard and saves your personal best. Play with mouse, keyboard, or controller.
Mix Food
Mix food and drinks to match the order. Choose your difficulty.
Tower Stack
Stack your tower as high as you can without letting it topple.
Barrel Blast
Shoot the barrels rolling your way. The longer you survive, the faster you can fire.
Decorate Your Room
Buy and swap out the furniture in your room. Change styles and colors, with a preview screen before you buy. In Co-op, every player still gets their own room, decorated their own way.
13 New Skins
That makes 21 skins in total. Some skins are unlocked through Steam Achievements.
Controller QoL
- Navigate every menu with the D-pad or Right Stick
- A or B to confirm, START to go back, LB/RB to switch tabs in the book
- Steam On-Screen Keyboard support
New Soundtrack
New music for every stage that shifts with the mood in the restaurant, from laid-back moments all the way to when the chef gets angry.
Co-op
- Notification when a friend joins your room
- New Co-op Tutorial
- The arrow above your head now only shows for yourself, for a cleaner screen

Other QoL
- Hammer buff
- Conflicting Perks can no longer be bought together (for example, the Perk that removes the bird and the Perks about the bird dropping coins)
- Duplicate monsters are now capped at 50 and self-destruct after 20 seconds, for smoother performance on lower-end PCs
- Added a Respawn button to the Pause menu for when you get stuck or lost
- Warning sound when a Monster Wave arrives
- New effects for Monster Shooter attacks
Content and Languages
