Regular Update 0.22 is now live

Today we're releasing Update 0.22, a smaller patch focused on quality of life improvements and bug fixes.
This update introduces a few requested features, including the ability to reconnect to an ongoing mission after a disconnection, improved visibility of public lobbies in the session browser, and a new optional HUD Effects setting for players looking for a more immersive experience.
As always, we've also fixed a number of issues reported by the community since the last update.
Thank you to everyone who continues to play, report bugs, share feedback, and help us improve Species: Unknown throughout Early Access. Every report and suggestion helps us prioritize what comes next.
You can find the full changelog below, and we'd love to hear your thoughts once you've had a chance to try the update.
Added
- "HUD Effects" setting: A new setting allows players to add effects to the HUD for more immersion (off by default). Effects include visible helmet and visor, UI skewing.
- Added button to skip the animation when buying equipment.
Changed
- Reconnect after lost connection: If you get disconnected for any reason during a mission, you (and only you) can now rejoin your group and continue your mission. Rejoin the same way you joined the first time (public or private session).
- Active lobbies visibility: All public sessions are now visible in the session browser. Sessions that are full or are currently on a mission/in transit are shown as unreachable.
Fixed
- Fixed ID_005 getting stuck in the blue pipes area
- Fixed ID_005 could launch grenades through walls/doors when they were too close
- Fixed bodies not burning correctly when playing against ID_005
- Fixed right-clicking to dismiss an unsaved-changes pop-up would break the settings menu
- Fixed a potential game crash when rapidly opening and closing the pause menu
- Fixed hover effect on show/hide session code button (in Streamer Mode)
- Fixed "P" key not being usable in control rebindings
- Fixed some texts/typos (German and English)
See you aboard the HSS Hawking.
