Stickplosion v0.9.12 — Stability & Spawn Fixes
New
- Full controller support across menus and play, with an on-screen marker showing where your gun is pointing.
- Per-player stats: lifetime damage totals and personal bests.
- A Getting Started panel beside the main menu, with an option to hide it.
- Healing, reload and damage crates and pickups carry their own glyphs instead of being told apart by colour alone.
- Bug reports carry the hardware and version details needed to diagnose them, and preserve up to 30 seconds of movement, collision and match state.
Fixed
- Players and bots no longer get wedged on platform corners, pillars or wall edges; a stuck character frees itself within about half a second.
- Two characters overlapping each other can walk apart instead of locking in place until one of them is shot.
- Spawns keep clear of map objects and stay inside the arena, so nobody starts a round trapped under a sentry, buried in terrain or outside the world.
- Crates and barrels sitting on a spawn point are moved aside before the round starts instead of being flung across the map.
- Terrain reshaped by explosions no longer traps players in the pocket it leaves.
- A player who falls out of the world counts as dead immediately, so the round ends instead of stalling with one player left standing.
- Kill planes, map kill zones and out-of-bounds deaths share recent-damager kill credit, preserving scoreboard and achievement attribution.
- Rejoining after a dropped connection works, and the host hand-off no longer strands the remaining players.
- Multiplayer exits ask for confirmation, defaulting to Cancel. Guests wait on a safe victory-screen action and see the host's next-round or new-match choice.
- Spawn assignment samples all authored map points with a shared per-round seed online. Respawns prefer another terrain-clear, unoccupied point.
- Percentage cards apply to your current values, and the card preview shows what you will actually get, including stats that are already capped.
- Card descriptions can no longer advertise numbers the game will not apply.
- Starting card drafts are randomised per match in multiplayer.
- The card picker lays out across the screen again, and a large draft wraps into rows instead of running off the edge.
- Fixed a crash that could end the match on the last card pick of a round.
- Fast-forward is offered whenever only bots are left, including while hosting.
- The bug report window accepts normal typing, including spaces and a second report in the same match, and opening it at the round-start prompt no longer starts the match while you type.
- Duplicate report submissions are ignored.
- Fullscreen, resolution, VSync, FPS limit and UI scale are saved when changed.
- Controller movement, D-pad and actions use the assigned device in solo and couch play; other connected pads cannot steer or jump the same player.
- Removed the bare controller restart shortcut. Round restart is host-only online and unavailable while other players are still alive.
- Replaced English decorative punctuation that rendered as boxes on handhelds, and text is legible at handheld resolution.
- Report presets and the session and host-choice messages cover every supported language.
