Too many minis to tag? Maybe we can help!

We added tags to TaleSpire a long time after we released the ability to share miniatures. Due to the frankly astonishing number of creatures you all have created, there are a lot of creations that could benefit from tags to make them more discoverable. That means a lot of work for you, even with the batch-tooling available in TaleWeaverLite.

We would like to help with this situation, so we are offering to help defeat the backlog by tagging your miniatures for you!

Q: What do I need to qualify A: The basic requirements are that you need to have over 300 public miniatures on https://mod.io/g/talespire and be okay with us modifying the tags on your untagged creatures. More fleshed-out details can be found on the form here: https://forms.gle/T5d5K9qRFsCDAZgC8

Q: 300 miniatures is a lot. Why that number? A: It is, but we felt we needed a cut-off, so 300 is where we are starting. We may broaden the effort depending on how things go.

Q: Hands off my minis! A: We don't want to meddle with any miniatures without permission. Rest assured, unless you ask us to, your creations will not be included in this campaign. (TLDR: it's opt-in)

Q: How long is this offer available? A: We are taking requests until the end of October. The tagging itself will, of course, take much longer than this.

Q: Does this cost me money? A: Absolutely not. Bouncyrock is funding this. Better tags make for a better experience finding things. We want to help that along!

Q: How often will you be running these tagging pushes? A: This is likely to be a one-time thing. Our hope is that newly made creatures are tagged on creation. We are running this to help lighten the workload for those who have shared so many creations before now.

Q: Can I opt out if I've already opted in? A: Of course. Just drop us an email at https://support@bouncyrock.com and we'll take you off the list. Q: Is this being done with AI? A: Nope. We are paying a human to do the work. Q: What is done to the mini? A: Tags are stored in the '.tsMod' file (as well as on mod.io), so the file is downloaded, tagged, and reuploaded. We will be using TaleWeaverLite to do this. This does not affect your ability to modify the mini afterward.
