The Orbit: Features & Latest News!

We're happy to announce that the last stable build of The Orbit got uploaded. Everything is ready now, and is looking absolutely delightful.

Here are the latest features added to the game:

1. Public & Private Hubs.

This feature comes with a Hub Explorer which lets you find random players from all over the world and play with them. You can also set your hub type to Private to exclude it from the explorer, or even set it to Friends Only so only your friends can join!

2. Perfect status logging and visual awareness.

Every important subject in the game comes with a logging system and lets you what exactly is going on. From joining a hub or creating one to generating the map seed, you'll know what's going on the system!

3. Highly optimized seeding & Season system.

The Orbit's current seed system lets you generate up to 100,000,000 Unique maps with each generation taking only seconds from start to finish. Each world has its own set of enemies and stars positioning, along with a choice of 3 seasons each having its own unique style and capabilities.

Be aware of the Lava Season though, our tests have confirmed that it's the most dangerous one.

4. Proximity Voice Chat & Text.

A communication system is absolutely necessary for this type of game, and The Orbit has both Text and Voice chat fully implemented with the highest optimizations. Don't stop when you die, help your friend find their way through this hell of enemies!

5. Fully Customizable Difficulty.

Sometimes, things are just way to easy for you. If you ever got tired of winning all the time, Be my guest and try our Hypomania Difficulty with 750 enemies all over the world and only 25 stars!

But before you do that, just know what once you spawn, there is going to be atleast 30 bullets rushing towards you.
