Major Update: Multiple Characters Per Player
UNKNOWN FACES - Major Update
Multiple Characters Per Player is here!
The biggest update to UNKNOWN FACES is now live. You can now control multiple characters in the same game, completely changing how you play, investigate, and deceive other players.
The minimum player count has also been reduced from 6 players to just 3 players.
Multiple Characters Per Player
Each character has their own role, money, and stats, and acts independently. Characters can be investigated, protected, targeted, voted for, and killed separately.
Switch between your characters using Tab or A / D.
Your win condition is based on your characters as a whole. For example, if you have a Mafia character, you can only win if the Mafia wins. If you have a Clown character, you can only win if the Clown wins.
Characters that aren't Mafia when you have a Mafia character become Mafia Helpers, giving you the abilities of a Civilian while still sharing the Mafia's win condition.
Other New Features
- Talking Animations - Characters now move their mouths while talking.
- Detective Changes - Accused players' roles are hidden during Round 1 and revealed in Round 2.
- Skip Voting - Voting can now be skipped.
- Skip Explaining - The explaining phase can now be skipped.
- Lobby Join Settings - Change between Everyone and Lobby Code Only directly from the lobby.
And, as always, this update also includes many other improvements and bug fixes.
The update is now live. Gather your friends and play UNKNOWN FACES with as few as 3 players.
