Update 202: Autumn Has Fallen - Released!

Hello everyone,

Today we’re pleased to be releasing War of Rights update 202, bringing the seasonal autumnal visuals into the game! Experience War of Rights in a new light as trees, bushes and grass all change into their golden and red colors.

Today’s update also includes further improvements to the recently updated melee animations as well as a revamped spawn screen, now allowing you to spectate the Flag Bearer of your Company while you wait in the queue to deploy. Should the Flag Bearer have been killed, you’ll be spectating your Company Officer instead, and should he also have been killed you’ll be spectating one of your Company NCO’s. As this is the very first implementation of the feature in an effort to reduce the more dull parts of the gameplay loop (sitting and looking at the deployment menu waiting to spawn for several minutes per match has been something we have wanted to change for a long time), please keep in mind that it is subject to change based on community feedback.

The Dead Rises October 23rd!

Evil is once again stirring as the autumnal fog slowly creeps into the mass graves of the Maryland Campaign of 1862. Prepare for another assault by the slain hordes of risen Union and Confederate soldiers, forcing you to band together with your recent foes for any chance of survival.

This year’s time-limited event Risen Dead runs from October 23rd until November 23rd!
