Update — Multiplayer Bots, New Officer Abilities & AI Rework

Multiplayer & Co-op

Bots are now available in multiplayer rooms. Human players and AI bots can be assigned to either team, allowing co-op, PvP with bots, or fully customized team setups. Added separate starting resource settings for Team A and Team B . Improved AI animation skipping in multiplayer to make bot turns faster. Fixed Victory Points not being restored correctly when loading multiplayer saves.

New Officer Abilities

Added several new abilities for officers:

Recruitment — recruit a basic faction unit on an adjacent empty hex. Field Camp — establish a field camp where units can replenish personnel. Organize — temporarily increase the movement of an allied unit. Movement Disruption — temporarily reduce the movement of an enemy unit.

AI Rework

Reworked the AI system used by bots. Bots can now properly use the new officer abilities and other special actions. Reworked how bots handle reconnaissance and Fog of War . Fixed cases where units that cannot capture objectives would still prioritize them. Improved AI movement and positioning logic. Optimized AI calculations to reduce bot turn processing time, especially in larger battles.

Gameplay

Grenade damage now scales with the combat power of the attacker and defender . Fixed several issues with abilities granted by map objects and terrain, including cases where they were not correctly added or removed after units moved.

UI & Visuals

Own, allied, and enemy units now use different personnel bar colors , making them easier to distinguish. Updated unit icons for the USA and Germany .

Mods

Improved validation for custom scenarios and campaigns. Updated the Mods UI with clearer validation messages and more detailed information about detected issues.

Other

Various gameplay, multiplayer, performance, and stability fixes.
