About the game

Black Paradox is a roguelite shoot 'em up that drops you into the cockpit of a time-jumping bounty hunter, hunting down the most wanted criminals of the universe across waves of bullet-soaked chaos. Built on the language of classic arcade shooters, layered with modern progression systems, and soaked in neon-drenched retrofuture.

Every run is different. Every upgrade matters. Every boss is somebody you don't want to meet twice.

The Reloaded Update. What changed

• Fully redesigned visuals - Sprites, effects, UI: everything reworked from the ground up. The retrofuture aesthetic is finally where it always wanted to be.
• Rebalanced difficulty - Seven years of player feedback distilled into a smoother learning curve. More inviting for newcomers, still uncompromising in the late game.
• New Endless Mode - Survive escalating waves for as long as you can. Designed for "one more run" sessions that quietly become entire afternoons.

If you've owned Black Paradox since 2019 and prefer the original version, you can still play it on the ClassicBlackParadox Steam branch. To access: right-click Black Paradox in your library → Properties → Betas → enter access code ClassicBlackParadox → select "ClassicBlackParadox" from the dropdown. Switch back anytime.
