About this game

A little fox has set up camp on your desktop to keep you company. The fire crackles, soft lofi plays, and little by little, your busy days turn into a cozy camp of your own.

It works while you work

Every key and click, in any app, gives your fox energy. It fetches firewood, feeds the fire and roasts marshmallows, and every marshmallow turns into Stars. Now and then, one comes out golden. Stop for a while and your fox curls up for a nap until you're back.

Every Star grows your camp

Your camp starts small: a campfire, a tent, an oak and a fox. Spend Stars to upgrade them: marshmallows roast faster, logs burn longer, and each item changes its look as it grows. Finish one, and something new unlocks. No spoilers, but one of the trees is made of marshmallows, and your fox doesn't have to stay a fox.

Pet the fox. Skip stones.

Your fox watches your cursor go by. Rest your cursor on it for a pet, and it answers with a happy hop and a little heart. Down at the pond, flick a stone across the water and try to beat your best. At six skips, your fox cheers.

Invite company to your fire

Every key and click also adds a drop of ink to your ink well. Save some up and send a postcard: a traveler walks in, sits by your fire, helps with the firewood and leaves a gift of Stars. Or invite two friends from Steam, or visit theirs. Everyone brings their own animal, and each one works while its human does.

Anywhere on your screen

No frame and no background, just the island floating over your desktop. Drag it anywhere, shrink it into a corner or give it a whole second monitor. Keep it on top or behind your apps. Clicks go straight through the empty space around it, and it remembers where you left it.

It keeps going while you're away

Close the laptop, go to bed, sleep in. Stars keep falling over your camp for up to 8 hours (12 with upgrades), and they'll be waiting for you. Nothing dies, nothing wilts, and there are no daily chores. Your fox is just glad you're back.

See you by the fire.
