About this game
Manala is a videogame about live-action roleplay (LARP). Build a combat deck and fight other players.
The swords are fake. The starter sword is PVC pipe, pool noodle and silver tape. The tape is coming off. Upgrade to latex later: it hits exactly as hard.
The hits don't count. About to get hit? Take the blow with your head. Headshots are illegal, so it doesn't count. Still losing? Forget to Count Health Points. You'll feel it after the fight.
The monster is a guy in a costume. The orcs are people in masks. The first-timer is boiling instant noodles. Someone is holding out a wristband.
Your gear decides your cards. Left your shield at camp? No blocking.
Kill someone and take their stuff. It's a PVC sword, but it's still worth something.
