Well, that was quick, wasn't it?
Less than a month ago, we announced A Game About Digging A Hole Together, and today we're already revealing the release date!
The game is launching on December 4!
We just announced the date together with Xbox during the IGN x ID@Xbox Showcase, and I'm also happy to confirm that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one!
As you can probably tell from how quickly we're announcing the release date, we've actually been pretty far along in development for quite some time!
A Little Update on Development
Earlier this month, we invited some of you to participate in our community playtest, and I'm really happy with how it went!
The feedback was very positive, and what made me especially happy was hearing that the game feels like everything people enjoyed about the original, just bigger and now with multiplayer!
We wanted to take the simple idea of digging a hole, expand on it, and make it even more fun, especially when playing with friends.
Of course, we also received some valuable criticism! For example, some of you mentioned that flying with the jetpack still feels a little wobbly. That's something we're already working on and want to improve before launch.
So, a big thank you to everyone who joined the playtest and took the time to share their thoughts. It really helps us make the game better!
